Next week will be Halloween. Children in Casa sang songs, read stories, and talked about safety rules during trick or treating – Children need to stay close to their friends and parents when going door-to-door. Children must be accompanied by a parent, checking both sides of the road before crossing the street. Children should always ask a parent to check the treats before eating them. And remember to be polite and thank the people handing out candies. We look forward to the costume party on Monday.
Fall is a beautiful season for children to experience the colorful world. Children had a wonderful time going for a nature walk and finding pinecones and leaves. As Halloween is around the corner, children helped to decorate two pumpkin monsters by painting and sticking on tissue paper of different colours. Vocabulary learned this week were – spider, bat, and pumpkin.
