Casa
Casa A children focused on water activities like pouring, sponging and whisking which helped to develop their concentration and fine muscles. In language, we started working with sandpaper letters and sorting objects by their beginning sounds.

Casa B and C did Sink and Float. Children chose objects and made predictions before placing items on water. We observed the results and sorted the items into sink and float. Heavier objects no matter how small or big they look sink because of their density. Lighter objects like feathers and foams float because they are mostly filled with air inside.

PreCasa
This week is “Recycle”. Children experienced recycling through exploring a sensory bin filled with recyclable items and finding new ways to use old toys. We used egg cartons to make a caterpillar and used food for stamping. Through these activities, children exercised their finger movements and learned to pretend play.
