Casa
We focused on our five senses this week to sort taste, hearing, touch, sight, and smell. The children also talked about emotions and feelings this week. We read “Z have feelings”, “Being a friend”, “Courtesy”, and “Responsibility”. We talked about what are good manners and how to care for our friends’ feelings too.
Pre-Casa
This week our Pre- casa learned about different colors and explored color mixing. They improved their color recognition and fine motor skills by transferring and sorting different colors of teddy bears. They also practiced fine motor hand-eye coordination skills by stringing colorful felts to straws. In addition, we learned some new songs about colors and enjoyed sensory play with rainbow water beads.
