Casa
Our Casa children learned about community helpers – vets, doctors, dentists, police officers, and teachers. We played games and matched vehicles to their jobs – fire truck, ambulance, police car, and mail van. We also discussed what we want to be when we grow up. Many children would like to become police officers and doctors.
Pre-Casa
The week’s theme is African Animals. Children learned about African animals through games like “walk like an Elephant”, and songs about animals. We listened to animal sounds and played African animal rice sensory play to help us learn their names.
