Goodbye!
Woo-Hoo! What a great year this has been. Our children worked hard and played hard with many laughters, some shouting and crying at times, but most of all, they have built their friendship over the year to care for, respect, and learn from each other. Each one of you deserves many, many high fives, thumbs-up, and hugs. All our teachers at ASMS are so proud of your progress and we have truly enjoyed being with each one of you. Many children will return for summer camp, but to those families who are leaving, we wish you a safe, happy summer and wish the children the best of luck in their new schools! Graduates – You are ready for your next adventure. You will do great in Grade 1!
Casa
This has been a busy week as we tried to bring an end to the school year with fun activities, games, and build memories. Children enjoyed a fun day on Thursday with giant bubbles, water play, a bouncy castle, and a pizza lunch. Report cards were distributed on the last day. It has been a pleasure having these children at ASMS this year.
Pre-Casa
Children played with numbers, counting from 1 to 5, and one-to-one corresponding activities. Children played fishing which had numbers on them to get used to the numbers naturally. For art activities, children traced their fingers and did counting from 1 to 5. They also added pompoms for their apple trees. Children used their fingers and markers to make a counting caterpillar and counting umbrellas which developed their fine motor skills. On a fun day, children had a picnic, jumped on the bouncy castle, played with water, and had a fantastic day.
