Casa
Casa A children reviewed sizes this week using pink tower blocks and broad stairs. Children are beginning to follow routines and starting to understand the rules in the classroom. We also had a lot of fun on Friday participating in different activities.
It’s Father’s Day weekend and Casa B children discussed how they can show appreciation with a song, card and a hug to their fathers. We had Fun Day on Friday and on top of that, celebrated a birthday!
It was transportation week this week with children matching community helpers with their vehicles and sorting land, water, air transportation. We all talked about what to do for our fathers on Father’s Day too.
Pre-Casa
The theme for pre-casa this week was “Animals”. The children learned about animals while exercising fine motor and gross motor skills. Children participated in animal shadow painting, making a lion with their fingers, and imitating animal walking.
