Casa

Children were busy this week fitting into their costumes and perfecting their performance for the Spring Concert. While the graduates finalized their sequence for the evening and started making a self-portrait to conclude their year. We will soon finish off the school year with a report card and celebrate the start of summer with different games and activities.

Pre-Casa

This week, Pre-casa children have been practicing their graduation song “octopus song”. They have learned to line up, wait, remember their spot and dance on the stage.

During afternoon activity time, children learned about summer. There were memory cards with beach chairs, sand castles, floats, parasols, and sunglasses. They played in the camping dramatic area where a campfire, fishing site, and camping chairs were set up. Children enjoyed cooking with the toy food, sat down and relax, and pretend fishing. For crafts, they were encouraged to use open-ended materials to make summer-related items such as watermelon, popsicles, and sea shells.
