It is all about getting ready for Chinese New Year this week. We made a book about Chinese New Year. We read it and talked about symbols and traditional celebrations – pandas, oranges, red lanterns, red pockets, and dragons.
Children learned about Chinese New Year culture from art and craft by making paper dragons and preparing for the year of rabbit 2023, among our Montessori work.
Precasa
Precasa learned about winter this week – the cold of winter, feeling and touching of snow, and coloring mittens. In addition, we also learned that there are many fun activities and delicious food in winter, which are difficult to experience in other seasons. Students learned new songs about winter and enjoyed doing little movements too.
