Happy Valentine’s Day! This week, Casa children made heart-flower cards to say “Love” to our families. We made a heart bag for collecting our Valentine’s cards and loot. Later this week, we talked about Canadian currency. We matched dollar bills and coins and learned their values. We played in the pretend shopping center in the dramatic play area, adding up the values of our groceries and paying for them.
Pre-Casa
With Valentine’s Day this week, our per-casa enjoyed various activities with hearts. They did heart painting, made playdough hearts, learned to match their name, got familiar with the alphabet, and sang “I love you” song together.
