Dec 5 – 9

As we enter December, our Christmas spirits are in the air. Casa students have been reading and singing Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer and practicing for the winter performance. We learned what a reindeer sleigh is, what Santa prepares for at Christmas time, and that he laughs with a Ho-Ho-Ho.

Precasa children completed a reindeer puppet and learned vocabulary related to Christmas – Santa, Christmas tree, reindeer. They filled a Christmas bauble with pompons, beads and feathers.  Children also enjoyed exploring a sensory bin filled with colourful water beads where they scooped, transferred, sorted, and rolled them. That was relaxing!
