Casa
This week, Casa 1 talked about space, stars, the solar system, and astronauts. We made satellite, UFO, and created an alien with our imagination. We learned that a comet has two long tails – one is a gas tail and the other is a dust tail. We enjoyed singing and dancing with our paper cup rocket ship and pretended to travel to the different planets in our solar system with our UFO saucers.
This week Casa 2 children were very excited to learn about the Solar system and its planets. They learned how plants rotate around the sun in their respective orbits. Children enjoyed painting planets, making crowns of solar system, rockets, aliens, moon, and astronauts. They had lots of fun with a rocket launching game and practiced sports ball with a Sportball coach.
Pre-Casa
This week, children learned about pets at home. They role-played feeding pets and how to take care of them. They had fun making a 101 dog with Q-tips; a bird on laminating film, a fish with brushes and a bunny with crayons. They practiced their hand-eye coordination by fishing with a pipe cleaner and enjoyed moving their bodies in the gym with a sportball coach.
