Celebrating Spring! We are learning about life cycles of plants, animals, and humans. We planted flower seeds and will watch them grow over the next few weeks. We celebrated Earth Day with crafts, stories, and a discussion about how we can all do our part to save the Earth.
Pre-Casa
Pre-Casa students learned about self-care this week. They practiced brushing a model tooth using a giant toothbrush. They learned to floss using a piece of yarn, and gave baths to baby dolls using sponges. These tasks were good opportunities for them to practice and develop their fine motor and concentration skills. They gave children a sense of control and independence. Our songs and stories also helped to reinforce the importance of staying clean and healthy.
