Casa
Casa 1 has been learning about the amazing human body. We discussed what is on the outside and what we think is on the inside of our bodies. We looked at real x-rays to see what bones look like and put together a life-sized paper skeleton. We learned that we have many muscles, even in our face! We made a model to see how muscles work and found out where our largest and smallest muscles are.
This week in Casa 2, we learned about insects. Through sorting and matching activities, we learned that insects have six legs and some have wings. Children continue to progress with maths and language work according to their levels.
Pre-Casa
This week, we did an ice melting experiment to understand that Winter is near the end and soon it will be Spring! We started doing the postures of spring yoga, made a ladybug, and painted flowers. We pretended to run a flower shop of our own and cannot wait to see some real spring flowers!
